    Saudi Exports Development  Committee in a workshop of  Asharqia Chamber yesterday
     
        
            The head of Business Development  Committee Export Development, Bassam bin Hamed Al Aujan, in a workshop held Tuesday, November 1 in the headquarters of Asharqia Chamber  that gathered a number of Saudi exporters, the  Committee participated in 37 specialized international exhibition and forum in all industrial sectors, aiming to promote Saudi products and to show its quality, also its commercial delegations for more than 7 countries, such as: Kazakhstan, Morocco, Egypt and the Maldives, with the aim of enhancing  the trade and economic relations and increasing the amount of trade exchange.
       
    Al Aujan said that the Committee aims to enhance market access and promotion in strategic markets, to encourage Saudi products in the international markets, and contributing to raise the level of competition, and accessing the new markets, to meet the requirements of the phase.
        
    Al Aujan introduced a brief presentation in the workshop about the Committee and its roles to promote exports in Saudi, briefing  them in six connected roles starting with empowerment and promotion, development, and ends with providing information, advice and strategies, pointing that the strategic map, in which it starts with, based on the improvement of the readiness of export of small and medium institutions and the need to find and provide opportunities for companies ready for export, as well as working to improve the efficiency of the export environment and facilitate the access to the international markets.

    Al Aujan said that there are 2229 registered company so far in the Committee, pointing to the body followed and implemented the training programs and workshops surpassed the 120 Workshop in 8 cities in order to develop export readiness of small and medium enterprises.
        
    Regarding the e- role of the Committee to improve the efficiency of the export environment and facilitate access to markets, the  Committee according to Al Aujan began to make  an e-chart about the export challenges, and aims to identify the most prominent obstacles and challenges facing the exporters, in addition to the issuance of the second edition of the export guidance, which serves as a total reference to the requirements of exporting and the procedures based on the actual requirements of each party, and according to the desired product to export to get the best results of the export process.
        
    For his part, the Head of Planning and Strategies in the Saudi Exports Development Committee, Abdulrahman bin Muaiad Al Qurtas, shed the light on targets for the future export development Committee, pointing that the Committee has determined future goals according to the Kingdom Vision 2030 and the targets of the National Exports Development Program 2020, saying: ( according to the vision, the Committee is keen to play its role in r increasing the non oil exports from 16% to 50% of the total production), pointing that according to the national program there is an ambitious plan that the Committee being a contributor to the increase in non oil commodity exports in value of 185 billion riyals to 330 billion riyals by 2020 to work with the authorities in the export system, to reduce the average time to export from 15 days to 7 days.
